Individual Therapy
For individual psychotherapy, I offer a complimentary 50-minute consultation* to answer any questions you may have and to give you and I the opportunity to determine whether I am the right therapist for you.
Thereafter, the fee for a 50-minute session is $80 (HST inclusive).
To start, I recommend that we meet weekly for at least five consecutive sessions. After that time, frequency (once a week or once every two weeks) can be adjusted based on your needs.
Couples’ & Relationship Therapy
At this time, I am not accepting new clients for relationship therapy. If you would like recommendations for therapists who may be accepting clients at this time, please send me a note via the Contact Form.
Sliding Scale
I maintain a certain number of clients on a sliding scale, which means that I can offer a reduced fee based on individual financial circumstances and availability. Please inquire if you are in financial difficulty before confirming a consultation session. (May 2013 – I currently do not have any sliding scale fee openings.)
Payment Information & Policies
I accept payments in cash or cheque at the conclusion of each session. I also accept email transfer or credit card payments via Paypal in advance of each session (after the initial three sessions).

PayPal payments can be made on the Online Payment page. Please note that an additional fee to cover service charges will be added to all PayPal payments.
Cancellation policy: If an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, there will be a $60 fee charged regardless of the reason.
Psychotherapy services provided by private practitioners are not covered by OHIP or most extended health care benefit plans. More information can be found on my post discussing insurance coverage.
*Referral clients from the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy are not eligible for the complimentary consultation.
If a booked complimentary consultation meeting is cancelled without 24 hours notice, a $40 fee will be applicable for a rebooked consultation meeting.
Availability
My hours are Monday to Friday from 11am to 8pm, and on Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
